The Antarctic Riviera is a region consisting of the populated islands off the coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. The communities of Georgetown, Elephant Island, Nelson Island, San Marino, and Villa Rothera will use the term to promote tourism in the area. Magellan will be the home port of all domestic cruise lines and the main port of call for international cruise lines, but the city itself is not considered part of the region. The city of Georgetown has a district that is called "the Riviera", which is unrelated to the proposed region.
